T.J. Miller is the heart and founder of Ludus Academy of Martial Arts, where he leads with over three decades of experience. Beginning his Jeet Kune Do journey in 1989 at Princeton Academy of Martial Arts, T.J. has since earned black belt instructor certification at Ludus, as well as instructor credentials in American Freestyle Karate under Alex Wilkie and through the Warrior Arts Alliance. A lifelong martial artist and teacher, he previously co-founded Combined Forces Martial Arts in Robbinsville and served as Martial Arts Director at The Little Gym of West Windsor and Newtown. His classes blend deep knowledge, precision, and a passion for helping every student reach their potential.

A dedicated martial artist and co-founder of Ludus Academy, Paul Cybularz holds his black belt and has over 16 years of mixed martial arts experience. He combines his martial arts expertise with his background as a Acupuncturist and a personal trainer, emphasizing functional movement, focus, and mental toughness in every class. Paul’s teaching style is both encouraging and demanding, helping students develop discipline, strength, and confidence—on and off the mats.

Nicholas “Bear” Bade is a versatile martial artist whose experience spans multiple disciplines—from Jeet Kune Do to Muay Thai, Savate, Kali, and Shaolin Kung Fu. A Degerberg Academy 3rd Degree Black Belt and Jun Fan/JKD Apprentice Instructor, Bear teaches with infectious energy and an emphasis on adaptability. His multi-style background gives students a dynamic and practical foundation in striking, movement, and self-defense.

John A. Williams brings both martial tradition and Renaissance flair to Ludus Academy. A red belt at Ludus and co-owner of the New Jersey Renaissance Faire, John specializes in Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and assists in MMA instruction. His classes are a bridge between historical swordsmanship and modern combat training, delivered with a mix of humor, precision, and passion.

Jon Haas is a powerhouse of skill and knowledge, holding a 9th Dan Black Belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and years of cross-disciplinary coaching experience. As the founder of Warrior Fitness Training Systems and a certified personal trainer (FMS), Jon brings a holistic approach to conditioning and combat readiness. At Ludus Academy, he blends traditional martial arts with modern MMA conditioning, helping students build true warrior resilience.

Sifu Norman Taylor brings decades of expertise in Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts to Ludus Academy. A Level 3 JKD instructor through Tri-State, former USA Amateur Boxing Coach, and Savate Moniteur (Silver Glove), Norman’s instruction blends precision with creativity. His mastery of Western and Filipino weapons systems, including Bowie knife and Medusa knife techniques, provides students with authentic, disciplined, and effective combat training.
