We were looking for a place that rewarded our daughter for working hard and progressing, not just for showing up. The instructors truly care about the students, make it fun, and are professionals. The family environment helps each student feel safe while learning how best to protect themselves.

The Ludas is not just a great martial arts school, it’s an awesome environment! Every student and parent is welcomed as they walk in and are given individual attention during classes. Classes are fun and engaging and suitable for beginners as well as advanced students. There is something for everyone, ranging from fitness to self defense to particular styles for those interested in traditional arts. One of my favorite classes is the family class where parents and children attend together. I also really enjoy the FMA and Japanese “Samurai” Jujutsu classes. If you’re someone who’s always been interested in martial arts, come check this place out.

I found this place by accident six years ago while driving through the area. Since I was always interested in martial arts I decided to attend some class and see if it was what I wanted. Have to say that I wasn't disappointed. I even signed my son up for class and he was 5 at the time. He loved it. We stopped attending after we moved overseas. But now that we relocated back to the US, my son I back in class with the Ludus Academy. He loves it and I like that it offers a good environment for learning martial arts but also engage in playtime which is important to the younger kids

It’s an awesome place and a hidden treasure of the town. The teachers are patient and knowledgeable, and most importantly they are humble, just because they are black belts doesn’t mean they’re not willing to learn from others, including their own students. Here, you’re encouraged to do your best, ask questions, experiment and explore, and most importantly to be excellent both to yourself and others. They have a diverse curriculum of various martial arts, and even have a whole day dedicated to fitness and conditioning if throwing punches isn’t your thing. They got plenty of classes for kids and adults, and no one is left out, odd number classes get divided or rearranged so that no one is left without doing something. This is a place where I wished I had found it sooner.
